Halva, meaning "sweet" in Arabic, is a treat made by hand from Ethiopian sesame seeds. Tahini is sesame seed paste that originated in the Middle East and is popular throughout the Mediterranean, North Africa, and Central Asia.


Both products serve as gluten-free alternatives for people with dietary restrictions and represent traditional Middle Eastern confections that have gained popularity in the health-conscious American market.
